Checking an appliance opening before the range arrives
- Cabinets & Millwork
- Accuracy
- BOLDR Max
An appliance that will not go in is discovered on delivery day, with a truck at the kerb and a crew standing around it. Walking the kitchen in camera glasses while the T1R Range takes the front and the rear of each opening hands BOLDR Max a 3D model with both widths tagged separately, which is what catches a run that narrows toward the back. The check happens while there is still time to do something about it.
Catch it before delivery day
- An appliance that will not fit stops the day
- Cabinet runs narrow toward the back
- Front and rear measured separately
- T1R Range reads from the back of the tool
- BOLDR Max tags both on the model
A finished kitchen with the appliances still to come is walked in camera glasses. The T1R Range is butted into the side of each opening and read from the back, the display showing 36 and then 36 and a sixteenth, and a narrower gap is checked for a mini fridge. The clip returns a 3D model of the run with front and rear inside widths tagged separately on each opening.
