The REEKON Accuracy Block allows you to quickly and easily check any tape measure to ensure its hook alignment and initial printing are dead on and, if not, how inaccurate they are down to 1/128" (0.2mm). 

The laser engraved aluminum Accuracy Block is fast to use and is a quick check to ensure blades are not damaged, installed correctly, and initial printing is correct.

How IT Works

Simply match your tape’s markings to the engravings on the Accuracy Block. The closest line tells you if your tape is reading short or long, no tools needed.

Choose between the PULL or PUSH process below based on which aspect of the tape blade you are looking to verify.

Push To Test External Accuracy

Your tape’s external (push) measurement can differ slightly from its internal (pull) measurement depending on hook wear or debris. Push the hook firmly against the block and use the dotted reference lines to verify your external accuracy.

Pull To Test Internal Accuracy

Your tape’s internal (pull) measurement can shift over time from repeated use or a loose hook. Gently pull the hook against the block and use the solid reference lines to verify your internal accuracy.

If your 2½" mark lines up with the 1/128" line, your tape is reading long.That tiny offset adds up fast over distance, especially when measuring across framing or trim.

When the 2" mark on your tape lines up exactly with the center engraving (0), it means your tape is reading true. No offset, no error. It's ready for precise measurements on every pull.
