How do you mark a cut line with a speed square and a tape?

Marking a cut on framing lumber normally takes three hands: one on the tape, one on the square and one on the pencil. The T1 Tomahawk's green laser puts a visible line exactly where the measurement lands, so the speed square drops onto a mark that is already there.
