Hanging board is a rhythm of measure, mark, score, snap, and the measuring is the only part that is not muscle memory. A T-square gives you a square line but not the dimension, and cutting to a mark you squinted at is how a sheet ends up proud of the stud. The video checks an opening, then moves to a sheet on the bench with a 48-inch drywall T-square laid across it and the green laser running along the face.
