How do you measure from the ceiling to a wall?
- Electrical
- Ceilings
- Layout
Some dimensions have neither end within reach: the start is up in the deck among the pipe and the strut, and the finish is a wall across the room. A tape needs a ladder at one end and a helper at the other, and both of them are in the way of the trades still working. The T1R Range shoots from where you stand and returns the figure on the tool, so the dimension gets taken from the floor with nothing set up and nobody borrowed.
How the reach gets covered
- Neither end of the dimension is reachable
- No ladder and no second pair of hands
- Shoot it from the floor where you stand
- T1R returns the figure on the tool
- The T1R Range keeps you out of the trades
A commercial interior is measured with overhead services exposed, white PVC pipe and black strut running above a partially installed ceiling grid. The tool is aimed up from floor level toward the deck and the display returns a reading of three hundred and twenty-five and a fraction. No ladder is set and nobody holds the far end.
