Being early to a tool category is a real risk for a buyer: the first version of anything is a prototype with a price tag, and the crew is the one that finds out. The T1 Tomahawk is no longer that. The tool on sale today is several generations past the first working unit, refined against what came back from the field rather than what looked good on a bench, and the green alignment laser and the e-paper list exist because the early ones were used hard.
