A block order is coursing arithmetic: wall length and height divided by the laid unit plus a 3/8 bed and head joint. Measuring the actual CMU on the pallet with the T1R Range and feeding it to the wall calculator counts against the block you are laying rather than a nominal 8 by 16. That is the difference between a spare cube on site and sending someone back to the yard halfway up the last course.
