On a trim package the bottleneck is not the saw, it is the measure, mark and check loop repeated on every piece. The M1 Caliber mounts to the saw you already own and turns length into a number you dial, with blade offset compensated so the figure on the display is the finished piece. Base, casing and crown come off the same digital stop, and a run of different lengths moves as fast as a run of identical ones.

With a digital stop on the saw, the tape stops being part of the cut at all. You dial the length, slide the stock to the stop and cut, then dial the next one. There is no measuring, no marking and no reading a blade in bad light, which is what actually slows a run of different lengths down.
