Slab layout alone is a fight with the tape. A blade that collapses at six feet gets walked back and restarted, and snapping a chalk line for one plate mark means stringing, holding and dusting a floor somebody else has to work on. The T1 Tomahawk stands out far enough to reach across the bay in one pull and throws a green line along the blade, so the mark and the dimension come from the same setup. The number is captured for the plate cut list at the same moment.

The video pulls the T1 off a belt, extends the blade out past six and a half feet, then works a board on a concrete floor with the green laser line running along it and marks off the reading. Three separate steps, reach, line and number, happen without setting the tool down or asking anyone to hold the far end.
