Measuring a backsplash straight onto a photo of it

- BOLDR
A backsplash is cut around outlets, so the figure that matters is where each box sits relative to the counter below and the cabinets above. Written as a column those positions are hard to read back. The T1R Range holds a green line across the wall and every reading lands on a photo of that same backsplash in BOLDR, so whoever cuts the panel sees the openings marked on the wall they are cutting for.
Why the photo carries it
- A backsplash is cut around the outlets
- Box positions read badly as a column
- Green line holds a straight reference
- Each figure lands on a photo of that wall
- The fabricator sees what you saw
A kitchen with the uppers hung and the counter already in is measured along the backsplash, the green line running across the stone and over the outlet boxes. An iPad in a rugged case stands on the island showing a photograph of that same wall, blue measurement tags appearing on it at each outlet as the readings are taken.
