Estimating a pour for block wall cores

Grouting block is not a slab pour: the volume is the open cells, not the footprint, and the cells are the one thing nobody measures until the truck is on the way. The T1R Range takes the run and the depth where you are standing and works the volume on the tool, so the order comes off the wall that was actually laid rather than off the course count somebody estimated on Monday.
How the volume gets worked
- Volume is the open cells, not the footprint
- Run and depth taken where you stand
- T1R works the volume on the tool
- Order off the wall actually laid
- The T1R Range saves it before the truck
A run of concrete block is measured with the tool held over the open cells, the display showing a calculation screen rather than a single length. Gravel fill and a poured strip sit alongside the wall. The run and the depth are taken in turn without a tape being laid along the blockwork.
