How do you carry a height around a corner onto the next wall?

Carrying a trap arm height onto the return wall usually means a level on a straightedge, or a mark you cannot make because the tile is already grouted. The T1 Tomahawk throws a green line from the blade, so the height set on one wall lands on the next one without anything touching the finish. The reading is stored as it is taken, so the same height goes to the fixture schedule rather than being remembered.

In a tiled bathroom the tape is held against the wall with the blade running down to the floor, a chrome trap arm and a carrier bracket already in place. The green line runs off the tape and across the return wall at the same height, passing behind the pipework. Nothing is pencilled on the tile and the tool never touches the finished surface.
