How do you set table saw blade height accurately?

Blade height decides a dado depth, a tenon shoulder and how much of the tooth is actually in the cut. Setting it by eye against a rule held on the table means reading a graduation upside down in sawdust while the arbor wheel creeps. Hook a T1M Utility on the table and pull to the top of the tooth and the height becomes a number on a backlit screen instead of an estimate. Save it and the same setup comes back tomorrow without a test cut to find it again.

The video raises the blade through the throat plate, then hooks a digital tape on the table surface and reads up to the top of the tooth. Nothing is held at an angle and nothing is squinted at. The reading gets taken the same way twice, which is the point when a joint depends on the setup being repeatable.
