Most jobs need both a long shot and a close pull, and carrying two instruments means two lists that have to be reconciled later. The T1R Range does the long one on the laser and the short one on the blade without swapping tools, and both save to the same list automatically. The takeoff comes out as one ordered set instead of two that have to be merged.
