Sprinkler work is dimensioned to hanger spacing and branch-line runs that an AHJ signs off, so close enough is not a category. A riser room gives a conventional tape no clear run and no second pair of hands. The T1 Tomahawk's magnetic hook locks onto strut or a grooved coupling, the green laser marks the branch line overhead, and each reading saves to the display instead of your memory, then travels to whoever is cutting and grooving.
