Measuring long spans inside a bare concrete structure

A structure at shell stage is all long spans and no features: nothing to hook a blade on, nobody free to hold the far end, and distances that run past where a tape is useful anyway. The T1R Range takes those in one shot from where you stand, and because the figure is saved as it is taken, a walk through a floor produces a record rather than a handful of numbers carried back to the trailer.
How a shell gets measured
- Nothing to hook and nobody to send
- 497 inches in a single shot
- Past where a tape is useful anyway
- T1R saves each figure as taken
- A T1R Range walk becomes a record
A bare concrete structure is measured with raw walls and soffit, a red laser dot visible on the far surface. The display returns readings in the low hundreds and then four hundred and ninety-seven inches. Stacked equipment cases and a pallet of blocks sit in the space, and no tape is extended at any point.
