How do you carry one height across several stud bays?

Blocking, backing and device height all have to land at the same figure on every stud in a wall, and the usual method is a tape and a pencil once per stud, hoping the hook sat right each time. The T1 Tomahawk shows the reading on the screen and projects a green line at it, so the mark lands on the laser rather than on a squint at a graduation. Set the figure in the layout guide and the laser fires at it in every bay down the wall.

The video puts the T1's green laser on framing lumber at a mark, then shows the line landing across several stud bays of an open wall. The laser gives a visible target at the reading instead of a number you have to translate onto the wood each time. It is the fastest part of the tool to demonstrate and the easiest to underrate.
