A frame kit arrives as a list of lengths and quantities, and the person at the saw usually works from a phone photo of it, ticking parts off by hand. The M1 Caliber takes the list over Bluetooth so the next length is already on the readout when you slide the stock up to it. Nothing is transcribed at the saw, and the parts come off in list order, which is what stops two rails ending up the same length by accident.

Aluminium extrusion is cut on a saw with the M1 Caliber mounted at the fence and a phone showing a cut list alongside. Lengths are worked through one after another, the readout lit as the stock is slid to each figure. The list on the phone rather than a written note drives the order of the cuts.
