Laser is not one feature, it is two jobs, and buying the wrong one is a common mistake. A green line extends the tape's reference surface so you can see where a reading lands on a stud or a joist. A red dot measures distance without contact for spans a blade cannot cross. Knowing which you need decides whether the T1 Tomahawk or the T1R Range is the right tool.
